Terms of Use
1. The Service
Steervane (“Steervane”, “we”, “us”) provides an AI tool that researches your brand, plans content, generates posts (image, video, and copy), and — with your approval or under settings you control — publishes them to social channels you connect.
2. Accounts & eligibility
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for your account, for keeping your password secure, and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current.
3. Free trial, plans & billing
- Free trial. New accounts get a 14-day free trial, no card required. Trials run in review mode (you approve each post) with usage limits.
- Plans. Paid plans (currently Starter, Growth, and Scale) include every connectable channel and differ by monthly AI-video volume. Additional AI video is available as paid add-on packs.
- Billing. Subscriptions are billed in advance through PayPal and renew automatically each period until cancelled. You authorize us (via PayPal) to charge the applicable fee until you cancel.
- Cancellation. You can cancel anytime; your plan stays active through the end of the paid period, after which it does not renew.
- Refunds. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable for partial periods. [CONFIRM REFUND POLICY — e.g. a money-back window, if you offer one]
- Changes. We may change prices or plan features with reasonable notice; changes apply to the next billing period.
4. Your content & ownership
You retain ownership of your brand, the information you provide, and the content created for you through the Service. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and publish that content solely to operate the Service for you. We own the Service itself — our software, models’ orchestration, and design.
5. AI-generated content — your responsibility to review
The Service uses AI to generate content from the inputs you provide. AI can make mistakes. Steervane is designed to ground specific claims in facts you supply and to let you review posts before they publish, but you are responsible for the content that is published from your account, including its accuracy, legality, and compliance with applicable rules. Review content before approving it, and use autopilot only when you’re comfortable doing so.
6. Connected platforms
When you connect a channel (e.g. Telegram, Discord, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn), you authorize us to publish on your behalf and you agree to comply with that platform’s own terms. We are not affiliated with those platforms, and their availability or rules may change.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to: break the law; infringe others’ rights; post spam, deceptive, hateful, or harmful content; impersonate others; violate a platform’s terms; or attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service. We may suspend accounts that do.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don’t guarantee specific results (reach, followers, or sales), uninterrupted availability, or that generated content will be error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Steervane will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability) survive.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We’ll post the new version here with a revised effective date and, for material changes, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING JURISDICTION], without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any disputes will be handled in the courts located there, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
